It convinced me to give blogging a try. I got an account on Bluehost and they installed the latest version. Your comments led me to select the 3-column right version of Cutline. I know you can't be expected to support various themes but the author apparently gave up. A bit of searching showed that last Fall someone else agreed to support it. That lasted about a month. I haven't found any other theme that I like as much but it does have some problems. They are likely minor to one with the proper background but I have only enough ability in HTML cause problems and assembler language skills that lapsed more than 30 years ago.
