YAY!
August is coming to a close and that means we had to get our order in for our season ski pass before Sept. 1 in order to get the discount. We placed the order today and are taking our skis and snowboards down to M.C. Sports to get them waxed and sharpened for the season!
I’m so excited I could burst!
Here I am with the air conditioner running, in shorts and a T with the sun shining hot and bright outside and I’m all antsy for ski season to come. Last year was just TOO SHORT with not nearly enough snow to make it worthwhile — so I’m hoping this season will be different. That, and we are planning three ski trips this year. Two family trips — one to Salt Lake City and the other up to Michigan . . . and then another trip with just Chris and I (his annual company trip) out to Lake Tahoe.
I wasn’t able to make time this year to join in on the National Ski Patrol Certification courses. I’m a bit dissapointed with that - - but with everything that I’ve had going on, there was just no way that I was going to be able to committ myself to three months of cert. courses. They start up again in July of ‘05 - so I am planning on catching the course then.
Can’t believe I’m saying this — but I wish winter would get here SOON!

I hear you. I’m grouchy about the fact that it’s supposed to be in the low 80s this week. It’s time for the mid-60s for highs, in my opinion, and I need to take my kids sledding, since I didn’t get to last year.
