TLC - Waterfalls
A lonely mother gazing out of her window, Staring at her son that she just cant touch…..
…I know that youre gonna have it your way or nothing at all….But I think you’re moving too fast

Remember this one? Heh - well, maybe you don’t. There’s something utterly depressing about it - while at the same time, it does offer a bit of hope along the way.

One of my all-time faves as it happens! I had a brilliant Drum’n'Bass remix of it that lifted the mood on the track just enough to stop it being depressing! ;)

This used to be one of my favourite TLC songs for a very long time. Didn’t really find it depressing for some reason though :-?
Maybe I’m just weird like that :)

I always thought of that as more of a sex song than anything. Then again, maybe it’s just because of the hot chick in the group…

When you’re that mother trying to stop the son you can’t reach, the song is depressing as hell. Or the babysitter watching the child you babysat for a good portion of his early childhood, or the older cousin watching the younger or vise versa… Great way to make my hormonal self cry this morning, Lisa. ;)

Out of all the songs I listened to as a really young child, this one stays in my memory the most. I remember singing along to it when I was 5. It’s a classic [:
