Slow as Molasses

on: Aug/11/05 and its been viewed 635 times

I love my job. I really do. I get to work with some awesome people - - both my clients and the designers that I work with - - and the different consultants and developers. I’m fortunate enough to be able to work from my home… which has always been a dream of mine. Especially with the gas prices soaring as they currently are - - when I worked in home care, I used to put 100-200 miles on my car per week! Imagine the amount of dollars I’d spent on gas per week?? Their reimbursement rates on mileage weren’t that hot, either.

Days like today though? I’m working on a TypePad client’s site. Today - seems incredibly SLOW. Trying to publish anything over there makes me feel like I’m back on dial up. Crawwwwwwwl…. SSsssssaaaaavvveeeee ….. PPpuuuuuuuuubbbblllliiiisssshhhhhh…. In the meantime, I’ve taken a shower and painted my toenails.

Blogger makes me feel the same way…although, in their defense, they have gotten better about it lately.

I have that problem with Blogger sometimes, too. Eventually, TypePad resolved itself today.. and usually I have more patience.. I think I’ve become your typical spoiled by broadband geek lol
