   He’ll now be with 60 Minutes. With their track record, Rather will blather for another 30 years. My question is “Whare is Mary Mapes now?”

   This whole thing stinks.

   I think it’s perfect timing, considering the boycott CBS initiative, and the petition to CBS to get Rather off the air.

   The word is that the investigation into the forged documents is about to be released and he stepped down rather than being humiliated anymore!

   I think it is all very convenient - - yet they aren’t even getting rid of him really as we’ll be stuck with his made up stories for the next zillion decades - - he is so much like Walter Cronkite it’s frightening
