Random Crazies

Today was my last day of medication. Tomorrow - I’m med free! Yahoo - - let’s hope the creepy crawlies stay gone!

I ordered some of this stuff and this stuff and this stuff today. We live out in the country and have well water — after a few months, my hair gets icky in texture and color because of the amount of rust and minerals in our water. A Malibu treatment every few months is always a requirement for me because my blonde hair starts to have light orange highlights in it because of the minerals. The last time I had a treatment done - I asked my hairdresser if they sold the treatment so that I could just do this thing at home. She said no. But I found it on line! Love. The. Internet.

The makers of the movie “In the Face of Evil” contacted me last month and asked if I would write a review, at Right Voices, of the movie prior to the DVD release on February 6th. The sent me a promotional copy of the DVD which I recieved today. I watched it this afternoon. It was really excellent in a historial documentary sort of way. I’m going to watch it again tomorrow and write my review on Friday.

Herrs Salt and Pepper I was at WalMart this evening picking up some new rollers for my hair. It seems my hair has grown so long that the one case of rollers that I have isn’t enough to roll my whole head . . so I needed a second. Anyways . . while at WalMart - I ran across these chips! Salt and Pepper potato chips. It sounded absolutely yummy to me - so I grabbed a bag. I haven’t been able to put them down . . they are soooooo good. But then, I love pepper on just about everything. I put pepper on my popcorn. I put it on spaghetti. I put it in cottage cheese with cut up tomatoes. I don’ t put it on ice cream, however. Warning on these chips: I’ve gone through half the bag and have required 2 diet cokes to help me through some of the burn.

I sat through the State of the Union this evening. Kudos to Bush on a really nice speech with some good indicators on where his policy will take us over the next few years. I have to say - - the mother of the Marine who died in Iraq and the Iraqi woman voter embracing tugged at my heartstrings BIG TIME. I think I even teared up.

I’m such a sap.

Nite!

    I love Herr’s S&P chips, too.

Having grown up in NYC, I was apprehensive of the desire in PA (at least) to add vinegar to chips, but I’ve become partial to them as well. (Can’t go to a fair without seeing vinegar for fries)

I use Alterna products faithfully. If you haven’t used them, you will love them. They have wonderful skincare products as well. You will love the feel and smell of your hair.

I hopped onto your site via Blog Explosion and wanted to thank you for your post above regarding the well water and hair. I to have blond hair, although processed, and I have a nasty well, which after a bad rain the water looks nasty. My hair starts to get an orange tone to it. I just thought it was the fade of the bleach. “riiiight”. I am going to look into those products and buy some to see if it helps my hair stay gloriously Blondie.

Oh, love the new design as well. Very classy, . Plus now I can fantasize about Lisa taking her pants off rather than her groping her “blue girl” boobs.

I think I’d rather you fantasize about me taking my pants off than have you imagining me with blue boobs!

Hey, I just noticed … HarleyQuinn reads my blog on a regular basis … she took the circuitious route to yours, Lisa. :)

I’m sorry, Lisa, I only fantasize about the next ear raping, not your blue boobs.
