I just installed this nifty little tool.
MT-Blacklist is an anti-spam for blogs. It was super, super easy to install and configure - - even I, of the blonde hair, managed to do it within 2-3 minutes!
I don’t have a tremendous spam problem on this blog - - but I do on my other blog. It seems to be a daily thing - - logging in and deleting those stupid comments with the viagra and penis enlargement URLS. Don’t they know I’m a girl and I don’t need penis enlargement?? Maybe they should go bug Vinny or Geoffrey or Les or Kevin or Madfish….but not ME - - I’m just a girl!

Over the last 3 days, I’ve been getting a few thousand spam attacks a day.

Trust me, they do. In fact, judging from the amount of people who try to post comments or send me emails about the size of my penis you’d almost think it was a major topic of national debate. Like everyone in the country is sitting around concerned over the size of my penis. It’s enough to make one feel a little insecure. And paranoid.

Good for you getting the blacklist going. It’s worth noting that you can put plain old cuss words in the blacklist if you want to keep things clean…
