Chris is sleeping in the bed next to me. I can’t sleep. It’s going to be one of those nights. Oy.
Before he fell asleep - he gave me a smooch and thanked me for a really nice day for his birthday. It was a really nice day, I have to say. After spending the entire day together, presents, (he loved them, btw) and dinner (NY Strip steaks marinated in soy sauce and honey - every try it? It’s awesome) - we settled down for the night, snuggled on the couch with two movies.
The Replacements - which we’ve seen a gazillion times. But it’s always a good on to watch…besides, both Chris and I dig the cheerleaders in that flick. ![]()
Drop Dead Fred. My absolute all-time favorite movie. I know, I know - it’s a quirky, weird little film…but I love everything about it. I know for a fact that Chelle agrees with me on this. Chris indulges me by watching it with me.
Tomorrow is back to the same old, same old routine with work. Bah.

Well that’s funny. That’s how I make a london broil.. Soaked in soy sauce all day long. Gary loves it.. I do too.

Drop dead fred is awesome. Ade Edmonson is one of the best comedic talents out there
Long live “the young ones”

I used to absolutely LOVE Drop Dead Fred when I was little - I haven’t seen it in years so I barely remember it, but I know it was great!

I’ll go the other way, and say that I’ve nearly played my “The Replacements” DVD down to the grooves.
One of my favorite quotes: “will you PLEASE get those girls to quit shaking their asses for TWO MINUTES!?” heh.
