19 days, and counting…. the wedding is right around the corner, can you believe it???
I picked up our wedding rings yesterday. We got them about a month ago, but they needed serious sizing - - mine was too small and his was too big. Now, they are both just right. Just gotta make sure we don’t lose ‘em between here and New York!
Question I get a lot these days? “Are you nervous??” The answer is two-fold. About marriage? No. About the actual wedding event? Yes! When you throw a shin-dig like this, there is always a bit of nervousness involved over whether everything will go as planned. More than anything else, I’m looking forward to the day.
We finally have our honeymoon plans in Bonaire confirmed completely - so I’m looking forward to 2 full weeks of surf and sand. We decided not to got the ‘resort’ route on this one — and rented a beach house instead. (i.e. no room service.. has a kitchen we can cook by ourselves, or hit the local restraunts). It’s a very nice little villa right on the beach.. secluded and privte - just the way we want it (wink wink)
In the meantime, I’m still working this week on finishing up a few of the client sites still left in my queue before I leave for New York/Bonaire. Here’s a few previews:
This website belongs to Jane Wilson-Marquis Bridal - - Jane is a couture wedding and evening gown designer in Manhattan, and she just happens to be my future mother-in-law. Her site is getting a complete overhaul - looking to be done with this one by the end of the week.
This website belongs to Yuuko Suzuki - Yuuko is a classical pianist who specializes in performing Brazilian classical music. Commissioned by the Embassy of Brazil in Tokyo, Ms. Suzuki currently is working on the Japanese translation of a Música Erudita Brasileirawhich will be published in spring 2006. Yuuko’s website should also be up and within the next week, or two.
Aside from work, gardening, preparing for the wedding and making sure that my caffiene levels are appropriately in check - things are chugging right along over here.
