Every once in a while you come across a movie that moves the hell out of you and leaves you utterly speechless. At the end as you just sit and stare while the credits roll off the screen - and eventually the only word capable of falling from your lips, as you wipe the remaining tears away, is just one. Wow.
And for an hour after seeing the movie - - still all you can say is just wow.
You know when you sit down to watch a movie with Denzel Washington and Christopher Walkin, you’re in for a good movie. Hell, just Walkin alone would draw me in. This movie was just one of those that exceeded the hell out of my expections for movies these days.
I won’t spoil the story line - but it was powerful. The acting was fabulous. What really cinched it for me was the cinematography of this film . . . it was just outstanding work! The acting combined with the direction would make it awesome — add in the filming and cinematography and this movie is a work of art.
It’s a rare thing that a movie moves me to awe and to just . . wow. This one did - - if you get a chance, pick it up and watch it when you’re not distracted with anything else. You won’t be one bit sorry that you did.
