I guess I forgot to update this blog over the last few days. It wasn’t until I received an email telling me that they were going to put my face on the back of a milk carton: “Have you seen this blogger?”
Life just gets in the way, ya know? I’m running 3 businesses and contracting part time for another. Plus - I have to ski, ya know. Skiing is right up there on the list of priorities. With all the snow that fell recently, the skiing has been excellent - - we’re going out again tonight. Right after the kids get home from school - - we fill up three Thermos’s of hot cocoa - and off we go for a few hours.
My daughter is learning to snowboard. She is a good skier - and wanted to try snowboarding - so the last couple of times we went, she spent most of the night on her bum. Now, I’m the only one in the family who doesn’t snowboard. I love to ski. However, I suppose the time will come that I’m going to have to strap one of those boards on my feet and give it a go.
I had the greatest fall the other night - I wish it would have been recorded on video. I decided to give the double blacks a try again - and ended up rolling head over ass down 3/4 of the hill . . lost both my skis and poles in the process, requiring a walk back up the hill to retrieve them. Good thing this was right after the latest snowfall and the hill was a soft, billowy cloud of powder, instead of hard, sharp ice!
Here’s some work stuff to get out of the way - - some new blogs, and some old blogs with new looks:
Ian is a teen interested in politics. He had contacted me to design his MT blog in patriotic blues, reds and whites. Yet another political blog joins the blogosphere - but this time from one of the younger voices in the crowd.
Go visit. Say hi!
The Movement of Hope is a non-profit charity organization that raises money to help build schools in the poverty stricken areas of China. They contacted me to develop their new WordPress blog.
Go visit. Say hi!
The Diamond Diva wanted a new look for her Type Pad blog. Something sparkly and shiny. She can tell you everything you’ve ever wanted to know about jewelry, but was afraid to ask.
Go visit. Say hi!
Blogs for Hillary - need I say more? They know of my own political leanings, and yet they still hired me to design and host their blog dedicated to the nomination and election of Senator Hillary Clinton. We’re equal opportunity designers, let me tell ya. Go visit. Say hi!
CatHouse Chat wanted a new look for their Type Pad blog. Going for a cartoony, catty look of a cat surfing the net - - with bright colors and accents. Meow! Go visit. Say hi!
And finally . .
Temple Stark has been hand coding his blog for way too long. Can you believe that? Hand coding his posts - and his archives. He’s finally made the move to MT and wanted a new look for his site. He’s a card collector who is from the Southwest - - so we gave him a card theme with southwestern colors, per his request. Go visit. Say hi!
Pfft. . and you guys think I lay around in my Jammie’s all day long sipping coffee and eating bon bons. ![]()

You are not just a girl in the world. No. The place you have built here shows much more than that; very rich. I am getting cozy here.
