Since no President has ever won the Oval Office without winning Ohio - this is hopeful news.
Matt Damon would pay a cool million to see John Kerry in the Oval Office, as CIC. Yea, well, if I had it - I’d double that to see Bush take it again for the next four years. Hmm..can the Presidency be purchased?
The Kerry camp is handing out pill boxes with the Kerry/Edwards logo on it. Hmm . . . for all the liberals to store 4 years worth of Prozac to help them deal with another Bush term, perhaps?
William Tucker had a nightmare - of EPIC proportions. And it ain’t pretty!
As for me? If Kerry wins - - I hope they pass those pill boxes full of Prozac in my direction!

Amen, Lisa.
I voted early on Monday.
Here’s to hoping Bush wins again!

I saw my first group of sign wavers yesterday at the crossroads. Only 3 of them, I think they were Bush supporters, but I didn’t really look, hopefully they were being mauled by insects. I really can’t stand that, I have an overwhelming urge to just run them down. Like all I need at the junction is a bunch of morons waving, jumping and whooping, and that’s just the other drivers! I feel like I should have a sign on top of my car saying “I don’t have a vote so leave me the F**K alone” either that or a Machine gun turret, maybe I could incorporate the two……

You are worriesome, Fred. lol
For the record, I hate driving down the street and being met with a bunch of sign wavers on the corner who obstruct my view of oncoming traffic. Around these parts, those sign wavers are usually prolifers obstructing my view with big billboard signs of aborted fetuses. oy!

Nice! Well fortunately no one has done that to me, if they did then I don’t know if i could be held responsible for my actions, I already get unreasonably angry at the people with the Choose life license plates……

I don’t get unreasonably angry - - there is no use in that, plus it wastes a good anger when it could be put towards something more useful.
Although, I will flip them off, on occassion - especialy when I’m sitting at a red light and they shove their signs in my windsheild. I had an argument with one, once, stupidly - I rolled down my windows and told them to get their morality outta my face. The guy behind me rolled down his windown and yelled at the lady “Hey - Your mother shoulda exercised her right to choose!” Not nice, admittedly - - but these people are rabid and when I’m driving to work - - I don’t want them in the streets shouting into my car when I’m trying to listen to my tunes, man!
Although, I have been a sign waver, once in awhile. I’ve attended political rallies - but the difference is that we were kept behind baracades - - and a good 100 feet away from on coming traffic. Bush supporters barracaded on one side of the street - - Bush protestors barracaded on the other side of the street. It was rather peaceful, really - - we didn’t obstruct anyones view in the flow of traffic, either.
I did have one lady roll down her window and yell at me, “I’d rather have Saddam as President, than Bush!” - - She was obviouslly angry and not thinking straight! lol

lol, I don’t mind people doing political rallies and the such, but I look at these people standing out there for hours and hours waving vote this or vote that signs and I just think don’t these people have something better to do? I mean honestly if they don’t couldn’t the volunteer to do something constructive like visit a hospice, or join a big brother / big sister group, hell they could pick up the trash on the highway. Think of all the man-hours wasted. And don’t get me started on the ones dragging their kids along with them, like the side of the rod at a busy junction is the right place for a baby in a stroller….. GRRRRRRRRRR….. OK I need to go calm down, take my medication and plot how I can pick off these people at long range and not get caught!

I guess my thing is, since when did someone shoving something in your face ever change your mind on something?
It didn’t work when I was a kid and my mom wanted me to eat mixed vegetables. Nor does that work now.
Oh, and Lisa, what could you possibly put anger energy towards??

Oh, and that nightmare was scary. And, I thought those pillboxes were what they were supposed to beat each other with. Kind of like in the Bible, in II Kings & Nehemiah, where the enemy destroyed each other in the confusion?

RedFred, I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your commenting on this site. You’ve always been the voice of the other side and I’m glad that your not one who gets overly emotional when stating your case. Good work RedFred!
Lisa, that was certainly a nightmare and hopefully not a glimpse into the future!

Why thank you, I enjoy commenting on this site, don’t know why, I guess the pace suits me (I regularly post on 3 sites and don’t like sites with 30-40 posts an hour) and the arguments here are challenging enough to make me think. Oh and the people are great!
In truth I’m not as democrat as I might come across but I do so love to play devils advocate! Although I do not like GWB one little bit ïŠ
