Hey, what do ya know - I am the ‘Geek of the Week’ over at ServerBeach. Months ago, they asked me for my bio and information and then I promptly forgot all about it. Today, Angela Ramirez of ServerBeach wrote to let me know that I’m their geek this week. Heh. I remember, in high school, it was so not cool to be referred to as a geek. Is this something to put on my resume, ya think? haha
ServerBeach, for those following along at home, is our upstream provider for Blogs About Hosting. We’ve been with them for about 5 years now and haven’t had one single issue or problem with their services and their customer service is fantastic. They provide services to thousands of hosting providers across the globe, including YouTube and WordPress.com - - so we’re in pretty good hands.
Thanks, ServerBeach - wait ’till I tell Mom! Heh.

Awww shucks, you guys - - I’d rather be your Nerd everyday than be someone elses geek for just one.

Well done. Being anything of the week is always cool. Did you get a tiny trophy? You should! It could have a built in thumb drive!

Thanks Steve! I didn’t get a trophy or anything — just my mug on their front page for a week and that ‘geek of the week’ header graphic you see in the post.
I totally agree, though - - a trophy with a thumb drive would have rocked.
