Dyson Animal

I seriously never thought I’d be so happy to have a new vaccum cleaner. Man, I’m either really obsessed with carpets.. or I’m just getting old and things like vaccum cleaners thrill me in a place where a new car stero used to. Heh. Disclaimer: this is NOT a paid product review at all. We just got this bad boy delivered today:

Dyson DC17 Upright Animal Dyson DC17 Animal - The product reviews state it is: “The most powerful upright for pet hair. Outcleans all other vacuums, room after room. Level 3 Root Cyclone technology. Unique cleaner head and motorized brushbar for the bets pick-up across all floor types

Friends of ours got one a few months back and they kept raving about this Dyson vaccum cleaner to us. Chris finally broke down and bought one - - I mean, we have three cats. Three cats means LOTS of cat hair!

So, it got delivered today. We vaccumed with our regular vaccum. Then I vaccumed with the new Dyson. I could just puke, really - - I vaccumed just one room in our house.. the living room. By the time I was done with the Dyson - I had a full canister of cat hair and dust bunnies.. and that is AFTER vaccuming once over with our regular vaccum cleaner (an Orek, by the way).

So - my life has come to this: raving on my blog about my new vaccum cleaner. What can I say? The new mother-in-law arrives next week for a 4-day stay during the Thanksgiving holiday - - the vaccum cleaner came just in time!

We have a Dyson too, and I can’t say enough good things! It’s disgusting how much dirt and hair that thing pulls up, but I’m so glad that I’m not walking though it every day! With 2 male roommates who seem to bring in an unnatural amount of dirt, that thing gets a fantastic workout every week!
