Question:
If you could do ______ all over again…
would you?
It’s hard to say. At this point in my life, I don’t feel like I have any regrets.
Of course, that doesn’t mean to say that I haven’t made mistakes in my lifetime - of course I have. Would I do them over, however?? Probably not. I’m a firm believer that all experiences - - good or bad, make up the whole person that you are today. Since I’m pretty happy and comfortable with who I am today - I’d be hard pressed to say that I’d do anything over again.
Although, back in 1985 - - during the State Speed Skating tournement…if I could do that one over again - I would have made sure to check my laces before beginning the race! I had the lead in the very last lap - - I was rounding the last turn and the one in second place was a good 20 feet behind me. Heading into that last turn, the laces on my right skate dangled to the ground and slid underneath the blade. I fell head over ass and back again…slid into the railing and bruised my nose pretty bad.
