I’m trying to find my creative groove. Did I leave it at your house?
I have this incredibly creative site/blog that I’m working on - and I NEED my groove.
Maybe I left it outside and its buried under a foot of snow? At any rate - I gotta have it. Help me find it, would ya? Leave me a comment or two with some creative thought - - anything works… just make it creative and inspiring, k?
Pacha: What happened?
Old Man: Well, I threw off the Emperor’s groove.
Pacha: What?
Old Man: His groove! The rhythm in which he lives his life. His pattern of behavior. I threw it off. And the Emperor had me thrown out the window.
Pacha: Oh, really? I’m supposed to see him today.
Old Man: Don’t throw off his groove!
Pacha: Oh, okay.
Old Man: Bewaaare, the grooove.

I don’t think you can force the groove. That’s kinda like groove rape or something. You gotta romance the groove, if you know what I’m sayin’. A little Barry White oughtta do it for you.

Is that the same..or different.. than ear rape? I don’t remember needing Barry White for ear rape… groove rape is different though, eh?

I know how you feel, or at least felt. I think I lost my groove sometime last week. I know that I’m having a horrible time concentrating while watching the movies and writing my reviews for about the last week, and it’s driving me nuts! I’m just churning most of them out now and barely ever feeling inspired or witty with them. I really need to find that magical movie to snap me back. Hmmmmm. Maybe I’m just watching too good of stuff and need a bad movie to help me find the groove again. Nothing seems to make me creative like a really poorly done movie or one with plenty of false claims on the cover…
