A Redesign during the Superbowl

on: Feb/5/07 and its been viewed 3,035 times

Well, it’s finally over! The Colts did it - as I knew they would. That first 92-yard touchdown on kickoff had me plenty worried, though - talk about building momentum right off the bat! And after all my build up about watching the halftime show with Prince… I didn’t get the chance. My son called and got off work early and I had to go pick him up. Normally, I would do what any SuperBowl fan would do at that moment in time…”That’s great - you’ve got two legs, walk home!

But, alas.. it’s a balmy negative 15 degrees. That’s below zero, for you tropical types who can’t relate. As much as I was looking forward to it, I just couldn’t bring myself to make him walk 4 miles home in these temps. I should get the Mother-Of-The-Year award for that.. or soemthing!

I did hear that Prince’s performance at halftime wasn’t all that great, though. Or maybe that’s what Chris just told me so that I wouldn’t feel so bad about missing it. Did anyone catch it? What did ya think?

While I was watching the game, I decided to redesign this site, again. I think I had the blue one up for at least 6 months.. that’s gotta be a record for me. This time around, I decided to go a little bit darker with a black and pink theme. Something about those two colors together - - I’ve always liked ‘em. And, of course, the perfect cup of espresso at the top, and I’m all set. Hope ya like it because I’m thinking I’ll keep this one around for awhile…. of course, that’s what I said about the last one.

Have a GREAT Monday!

Heh. Pink is a color I’ve not done before on here. Does it help that it is the accent color? ;))

Vicki - I was able to finally catch Prince’s performance on YouTube. It was.. OK. It’s always good to hear him perform his classics — but it wasn’t worth forcing my son to walk home in -11 degrees! lol

Thanks, Loretta - the black and pink are really growing on me :)

Sorry to say it is not available. Its a custom theme I created for my own personal site and am not interested in releasing it at this time.

Thanks for your comments, giles. :)

I always love it when you design all girly. Pink and black go really well together. Kind of like a girly Bret Hart look.
